I am currently working towards my B.S. in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior with aspirations to pursue a career in medicine. Having immigrated to the U.S. five years ago from India, where I completed the majority of my education, I bring a unique perspective shaped by experiences in both countries. As I  moved to the U.S, I noticed that health disparities exist everywhere, whether you are in your home country or abroad. I have always been interested in serving society in a meaningful way and I believe that the research we do in this lab can help me to combine science and social science to propose solutions for mitigating health disparities and promote equity in our society.

A fun fact about me is that I am a big foodie and love exploring new cuisines in my free time.
